Axel Frey

Axel Frey joined the Seifert Logistics Group in 2008 with a dual degree in Business Administration - Forwarding, Transport & Logistics. As a young talent, he developed logistics concepts and calculated projects in the contract logistics sector. Frey played a key role in setting up the site in Malsch. As Head of Business Development, he played a key role in the 2016/2017 growth phase. In 2019, he became Managing Director and was promoted to COO in 2020. He was appointed CEO in 2022 as Harry Seifert's successor, thereby organising the company's succession and rejuvenating the management team. He has been teaching at DHBW Heidenheim since 2011 and at HNU Neu-Ulm since 2020. As a BVL member, he promotes the image of the logistics industry and was honoured as Logistics Leader of the Year in 2023.

The keynote speech will highlight a specific example of an application and show how digitalization and collaboration go hand in hand to increase efficiency and promote innovation. This will be followed by an open discussion in which the discussion partners will share their own experiences and challenges to jointly identify solutions for the successful integration of AI and lean.
