Dr.-Ing. Charlotte Haid, is an independent consultant specializing in process automation, corporate strategy, and technical innovations in logistics. In late 2025, she completed her doctoral degree with honors at the Chair of Materials Handling, Material Flow, and Logistics at the Technical University of Munich. Her research focused on innovative, human-centered shift scheduling systems for logistics and healthcare—work for which she was nominated for the prestigious BVL Science Award in 2026. In addition, she has initiated numerous research projects in the fields of collaborative robotics, automation technology, and the future role of humans in production.
Even while studying mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Munich (2011–2017), she drove technical innovations in production logistics at leading industrial companies such as MAN Truck & Bus and the BMW Group. After graduating, she spent more than two years at Mercedes-Benz, where she was responsible for implementing standards and innovations in production logistics at the company’s international automotive plants. Today, she helps medium-sized logistics companies design processes that are future-proof and efficient.
