Petra Schlör is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the SSI SCHAEFER Group. In this role, she is responsible for the global establishment and continuous advancement of the company’s information security organization.
Holding a Master of Science degree in Business Informatics, Petra brings extensive experience from both multinational corporate environments and the fast-paced e-commerce sector. Her expertise combines strategic security leadership with strong operational execution capabilities.
As a certified Chief Information Security Officer and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, she ensures that SSI SCHAEFER’s security measures not only meet the highest industry standards but are also continuously enhanced to remain effective, sustainable, and closely aligned with business requirements.
Since joining SSI SCHAEFER in 2019, Petra has played a key role in shaping and advancing the company’s information security organization. She drives strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening security structures and fostering a robust security culture across the entire group.

Supply Chains in the Spotlight – Cyber Governance Rather Than a Patchwork Approach: Roles, Decision-Making, and Cooperation Between the State, the Bundeswehr, and the Private Sector

Digitalisation makes supply chains faster and more resilient – but also more vulnerable. A panel discussion will examine how companies can protect themselves, their products and their supply chains – as critical infrastructure – against attacks by criminals and suspected (quasi-)state actors: What strategic guidelines and support services are available from the authorities; what military situational assessments and principles does the Bundeswehr contribute; and what governance, role and decision-making models do companies need at the top level? This exchange can serve as a framework for refining priorities and identifying possible next steps.
