Raised in Northern Germany, he completed his secondary education (Abitur) followed by military service. He subsequently trained as a shipping merchant and pursued academic studies in business administration (B.A.), Supply Chain Management (M.Sc.), and political science (MPP, NRW School of Governance). After spending many years abroad and holding various positions with organizations such as 4flow, thyssenkrupp, and Innovation Norway, Tim-Ole Böhm currently serves as Head of the Industrial Participation Department at HENSOLDT.
