Philipp Walter has held leading positions at the Liebherr Group on an international level for 18 years. After working in Asia and the USA, he took over as Managing Director of Liebherr-Aerospace Lindenberg GmbH in 2021. Philipp Walter also heads Aerospace Transmission Technologies GmbH, a joint venture with Rolls-Royce that was formed to expand manufacturing expertise and capacity for the power transmission system of the new Rolls-Royce UltraFan™ engine. Furthermore, he serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for another joint venture, Liebherr LAMC Aviation (Changsha) Co. Ltd., based in Hunan Province, China.

It is specialized in development and manufacturing of landing gears as well as flight control and actuation systems for airplanes and helicopters of all kinds.
