Christoph Hemmann

Global Head of Forwarding | Maersk

Christoph joined the Maersk Group in September 2025 as the Global Head of Air & LCL within Logistic & Services. Christoph began his career in freight forwarding in 2012 and has since built extensive leadership experience across the global airfreight industry. He has a strong focus on commercial strategic growth and product related customer solution design as well as P&L management. Before joining Maersk, Christoph held several senior roles at DB Schenker. Most recently, he served as Regional Head of Airfreight for Asia Pacific from 2023–2025 and, prior to that, Regional Head of Airfreight for the Americas from 2021–2023. From 2019–2021, he was Global Head of Revenue Management Air Freight. Before that Christoph held various airfreight roles within DHL Global Forwarding from 2012 until 2019. He holds a Master’s Degree in Economics with a Major in Logistics and Regional Economic Structure.
