Meet the Trans-Caspian Corridor

Representatives from transport and logistics associations in Central Asia and the South Caucasus are taking part in the Supply Chain CX as part of a study tour organised by GIZ, with the aim of deepening exchanges with European companies and associations and identifying new opportunities for cooperation along the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor (TCTC). At the BVL Community Hub, visitors will have the opportunity to engage directly with delegation members at the country-specific tables, learn more about current developments in the region’s transport and logistics markets, and discuss market conditions, business opportunities and transport links along the corridor. The get-together is aimed in particular at companies wishing to establish business contacts in Central Asia and the South Caucasus, tap into new markets or expand their supply chains between Europe and Asia.

Make, Buy—or Build Together? Why a Company’s Future Viability Is Shaped by Collaboration Between Organisations

Many challenges in logistics today cannot be solved solely within a company’s own organisation, nor can they simply be outsourced. In this session, the classic ‘make or buy?’ approach is expanded to include a third perspective: ‘build together’. The focus is on how companies can jointly develop future-relevant capabilities and solutions through strategic business communities, rather than through one-off collaborations. The session highlights the framework conditions required for successful cross-organisational collaboration, how shared practical knowledge is developed, and why the ability to collaborate is becoming a key competence for leadership and organisational development.

Stand C66 / DACHSER

Get-together for researchers

In 2025, the sponsor of the Logistics Research Prize invited all finalists, their academic supervisors and the members of the judging panel to a get-together to mark the award ceremony: at the DACHSER stand, the guests met in a relaxed atmosphere and paid tribute to the outstanding academic achievements and their contribution to practical applications.
This year, we are building on this networking opportunity and expanding the circle of guests: all researchers in attendance at this year’s awards ceremony are warmly invited to engage in stimulating discussions and a lively exchange of ideas.

German Award for Supply Chain Management Ceremony

Once the BVL Supply Chain CX 2026 switches to awards mode on the first evening, Berlin becomes the stage for logistics: at the 2026 German Award for Supply Chain Management Ceremony, great ideas meet great moments – accompanied by networking, applause and the excitement that only a real awards night can generate.

As always, BVL board member Christina Thurner will host the evening. Happy hour begins at around 6.00 pm, with the awards ceremony starting at 7.30 pm.

The German Award for Supply Chain-Management is one of the most prestigious awards in the logistics sector. With this prize, the BVL honours companies that set new standards with innovative, bold and, above all, effective logistics and supply chain solutions – visible in practice, tangible in their results and serving as genuine role models.

Chaired by Christian Mohr, the independent expert jury will select the finalists and choose the winner. Look forward to an evening full of highlights – featuring projects that demonstrate how the future of supply chains is already a reality today. The highlight will take place live on stage: the announcement of the 2026 winner.

In addition, the winner will take to the stage on the second day of CX Day: during the “German Award for Supply Chain-Management  2026 – Winner’s Session” at 11.45 am on the CurioStage, the winner will present the award-winning project in detail once again – sharing insights, lessons learnt and the key factors behind its success.
